This wonderful Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant has been commissioned in 18ct Yellow Gold and set with a beautiful central 3.50ct oval cut Peridot. The Peridot is then surrounded by a halo of lovely Pearls and six further Peridots which weigh 0.20ct each. The pendant also features a 0.75ct pear cut Amethyst dropper and an ornate bale which is also set with four Pearls.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
